Return, Cancellation, and Refund Policy:
At Elegance by Preeti, every product is created with love, patience, and the skill of our artisans. We put great care into inspecting each item before shipping, so you receive only authentic, beautifully crafted pieces.
We do not deny returns or exchanges; however, as a small business, COD returns significantly impact us and result in losses. We request you to you to go through the product details carefully and place an order only when you are sure and you truly love the product. Your support truly helps us sustain our weaving community.
We understand that certain circumstances may require returns or exchanges. Please review our policy below for a seamless resolution:
Eligibility for Return/Exchange:
- Certain products are not eligible for return or exchange. These exceptions will be clearly mentioned in the product description. Please review this carefully before purchase.
- Returns are accepted only for wrong or damaged products delivered.
- Exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis for genuine reasons.
Conditions for Returns & Exchanges:
Exchanges may be considered case-by-case for genuine situations. Conditions for Return & Exchange:
- Raise the request within 7 days of delivery.
- A full unboxing video is required for damage/defect claims.
- Product must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition.
- Tags, packaging, and folds must be intact.
- Items without tags or returned in changed condition cannot be accepted.
- Customized items, cut fabrics, sale items, jewelry, and Jaapi are not eligible.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If your parcel looks tampered, refuse delivery and email us at elegancebypreeti@gmail.com. We’ll arrange a replacement at no cost.
Non-Returnable Products:
The following products cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Customized/made-to-order items.
- Cut fabrics
- Jewelry
- Jaapi
- Sale/discounted pieces
- Any item marked ‘No Return/Exchange’
- Exception: If a non-returnable product reaches you damaged, we will replace it. A mandatory unboxing video is required within 48 hours.

After approval:
- We will pick up in 2–5 business days.
- If your location is not serviceable, you may arrange return shipping.

Cancellation Policy:
- You may cancel within 12 hours of placing the order.
- Full refund if cancelled before dispatch.
- No cancellation once shipped.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Cancellation requests can be raised via the “My Account” section, email at elegancebypreeti@gmail.com, or WhatsApp 9845204526.
Refund Policy:
- Refunds are processed only after the product reaches our warehouse and passes quality checks.
- Refunds will exclude shipping charges, which are non-refundable.
- Elegance reserves the right to deny refund in case of soiled or damaged products.
Timeline: Refund is initiated within 7 working days after approval.
Refund methods:
Credit Card / Online Payment:
- The refund will be initiated to the original mode of payment or the account specified during the refund process.
- Shipping charges and any bank or payment gateway fees will be deducted. Processing time is 7–14 business days.
Net Banking / UPI: Refund within 7 business days.
Credit Note: Issued instantly upon approval.
Important:
- Refund denied if item is used, washed, altered, damaged, or missing tags.
- If an exchanged item is returned, reverse shipping will be deducted.
Exchange Policy:
- Raise an exchange request within 24 hours.
- Only one exchange per order.
- Second exchanges have reverse + forward shipping fees.
- Pay price difference for higher-value exchanges.
- Lower value difference refunded or credited.
