NATURAL ERI SILK SHAWL

This natural Eri silk stole/shawl, is hand woven by the local weavers of Assam. Eri silk is an ethically made yarn sourced from the empty cocoons of silkworms that feed on castor plants. Eri Silk is the only commercial silk in which the moth is allowed to emerge from its cocoon naturally and hence known as Ahimsa silk. Eri silk provides warmth in winters and coolness in the summers, and these stoles are ideal to team up with any outfit! Eri silk has excellent qualities: it is skin friendly, iso-thermal, anti-fungal, bio-degradable and has low environmental impact. It is also a strong, durable fabric.
