Handspun Eri Silk Yarns from Elegance by Preeti is 100% authentic and offers such environment-friendly yarn that shows refinement as well as durability at the same time. It is soft, smooth, light and easily dyed to create any color of one’s desire. On top of that, it has a matte finish and comes in natural shades including a soft creamy tone or mild beige colors without using chemical dyes. It is also called Peace silk because producers of this silk do not kill silkworms while extracting their silk from them making it an attractive option for environmentally conscious artisans. These qualities make it ideal for many textile works like lightweight shawls and rugged coats among others. They are not perfectly smooth or uniform, but carry natural variations with slightly uneven thickness.
